Near the end of each season in south Alabama the MI Cub holds a potluck lunch. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass for 8-10 people. A signup list will be available at Club meetings. The MI Club will provide fried chicken, drinks and table service.

The Fish Fling event is designed to see how far someone can “throw”, “toss”, or “fling” a fish. Each contestant gets two throws and there’s a division for men and one for women. An entry fee of $1 is charged each participant and the top 2 in each division will will receive a prize. The event is usually held near a restaurant where attendees, participants and observers can eat before the event. In addition, there is usually entertainment to enjoy during lunch.

Charities The Club Supports
The Michigan Club Board decided to focus on four specific charities so that we might be able to give them more than a small donation.
The four charities we will focus on are as follows:
The Island Church Food Bank
The Preschool at St. Andrews Church
South Baldwin Literacy Council
Baldwin County Violence Center (which is Lighthouse)

We have a couple of opportunities for you to get in some quality golf!
Glen Lakes has graciously set aside two dates for members of the Michigan Club:
Thursday, January 15 AND Friday, January 23
Tee times begin at 10:00AM
The Cost is just $55.00 plus tax
That includes time on the range, cart, AND golf!
If you are interested, please text Lynn Wilhelm at 810.434.4335. Text her your name and the names of people in your party along with your phone number. Single golfers will be added to a group as space permits.
Space is limited so sign up early. Your assigned tee time will be sent to you as confirmation.
